AGRICULTURAL COMMISSION MEETING
MINUTES

October 20, 2016

Attendance:       Steve D’Aquila, Denise Cummings, Jim Dunn, Maleah Gustafson (@12:12)

Absent:                Eileen Charbonneau

Others Present:  None

Meeting called to order @12:04 PM

A motion was made and seconded to table acceptance of the minutes of the October 9 meeting.

The committee discussed the letter drafted by Jim which was sent by the Chair to the MDAR regarding the proposed new composting regulations.  No feedback was ever received from the requestor.

The Red Barn event was canceled due to rain and will not be rescheduled this year.

The Committee discussed Ballot Question 3 and whether to take a position on it and how to get the message out.  It was decided that Ag Comm take a neutral, information-only position and try to get a Fall Newsletter out before the election.  Jim needs additional inputs for the Newsletter.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:50 PM.
