MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS
March 19, 2018
8:00 AM STARBARD BUILDING
Members Present: Rosemary Scully, James Dillon, Robert Fitzgerald
1. Acceptance of Minutes: approve the minutes of the February 26, 2018 meeting.
2. Real Estate/Personal Property Abatement Applications:
Reviewed and made decision on two real estate applications for abatement.
Letters will be prepared and mailed to the property owners.
3. Supplemental Real Estate Tax Bills
Supplemental Real Estate tax bills are scheduled to go out March 27th.
4. Motor Vehicle Excise:
The second commitment for motor vehicle excise will be issued in April.
1,132 total bills
5. WCAA Spring Symposium:
Rose will be attending conference on Thursday, March 22nd.
6. Income and Expense:
Second notices to be sent out on April 23rd.
7. Cyclical Inspections:
Scott Bell will return to start cyclical inspection in April, once the snow is gone. Kim is preparing the mailings to go out, and will also do some inspections
8. Sales:
Second notices have been sent to property owners for appointments to review and
inspect, through November. Schedule with Mike Tarello to start sale analysis for
Fiscal Year 2019 values.
