Members Present: Dave White,  Joe Dolak, John Lambert Karl Makela, Chris Lucchesi, Don Graves, Marilynn Foley

Members Absent: Paul Challenger, Al Berg

Also present: Peter Lukes, Town Manager, Stephanie Bacon, Asst. Town Manager, Town Department Heads

The meeting was called to order at 7:10.

Town Manager Peter Lukes presented the Resource Profile. Through prudent planning and budgeting the Town of Holden is sound financially.  Peter reported that that the Health and Retirement Budget have increased in all budgets. The WRSD Budget increase is a $1,000,000.00 over what Peter had budgeted.  Most other budgets have slight increases due to salary steps.  The Regional Dispatch Budget includes expenses to cover cell phone calls to 911.

Peter updated the Committee on the December YTD financials,  the 18 Industrial Drive site and the demolition and site preparation, projected borrowing time for the DPW facility, and the Capital Asset Study.

There was discussion on the unsustainability of WRSD budget in relation to the town budgets.

Peter and the Committee thanked the staff for their hard work in preparing the budget. The staff is our most valuable asset.
