Minutes Holden Finance Committee, May 4, 2017, Town Hall
Members Present: Dave White, Paul Challenger, Al Berg, Joe Dolak, Karl Makela, John Lambert, Bill Randell, Chris Lucchesi, Marilynn Foley
Also present Peter Lukes, Town manager, Selectmen, Public Works Study Committee, Representatives from Weston and Sampson
The meeting was called to order at 7:30.
The Committee listened to a presentation from Weston and Sampson on the assessment of the property at 18 Industrial Drive in Holden which would be given to the Town and its use as a possible Public Works facility. The representatives from Weston and Sampson answered questions from the audience.
After the presentation the Finance Committee met to discuss the WRSD article on the Town Meeting warrant.
A motion by Al 2nd by Marilynn to table the vote on the WRSD Assessment to Town meeting pending Rutland's vote on WRSD was defeated 6-3 (opposed Paul, Karl, Marilynn).
A motion by Chris 2nd by Joe to Fund the WRSD Assessment was voted in favor 7-2 (opposed Al, Marilynn).
A motion by Paul 2nd by Joe to approve the minutes of April 27, 2017 was voted unanimously (abstained Bill).
The meeting adjourned at 9:30.
