Youth Fire Explorer Program

The Holden Fire Department sponsors the Holden Fire Explorer Post 2012 under the direction of Firefighter Jeremy LaFlamme and Firefighter Recruit Jacob Annunziata. This program is part of the Learning for Life program through the Boy Scouts of America. The program is geared to young adults ages 14 to 21 who are interested in fire science and/or becoming a Firefighter. The Explorers are introduced to basic firefighting knowledge and tactics (classroom and practical). They also learn to work as a team members in different situations. The Explorers meet Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.at the Annex.
