Brush burning season is January 15, 2024 through May 1, 2024.

NEW FOR 2024! You no longer need a payment confirmation number to apply for a burn permit.

HOW TO GET A BURN PERMIT: Starting in 2024, the online payment system will be integrated into the permit application form. To both apply AND pay for your permit, click HERE.

The new link to apply and pay for a burn permit is https://holden.burnpermits.com. Once you have a valid permit, call 1-855-937-0555 before 10:15am each day you wish to burn to activate permit.

Please know Fire Personnel will conduct periodic checks of brush piles. Fire Officers reserve the right to close down/deny open burning on any day due to weather/environmental conditions or reckless burning.
