The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Dave announced that Member Karl Makela has resigned from the Committee due to health reasons.
The Superintendent presented the F/Y 2020 district budget and answered questions from the Committee. This budget has been approved by the WRSC, based on state aid and the Governor's budget. Overall the budget is a 3.85% increase.
A motion by Al 2nd by Joe to approve Holden's assessment of $29,825,810.00 and the WRSD total budget of $$97,836,205.00 was voted unanimously.
A motion by Paul 2nd by Joe to approve Holden's assessment of $902,867.00 for the Montachusett Regional Technical Vocational School was voted unanimously.
The Committee had a discussion of the roles and responsibilities of Town Committees and the Town By-Laws. The topic will be discused again at the conclusion of the budget process.
A motion by Paul 2nd by John to approve the minutes of March 20, 2019 as corrected was voted unanimously.
Chris volunteered to create a spread sheet of the votes by the Committee on the town departments.
