Beginning Thursday March 11th, K-12 and early childhood educators, child care workers, and K-12 school staff will become eligible to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointment

COVID-19 VACCINATION INFORMATION
The Town of Holden is part of the Central Massachusetts Regional Public Health Alliance which is receiving a limited supply of vaccine.  This vaccine is being centrally distributed for alliance communities which include Shrewsbury, Grafton, Millbury, West Boylston, and Holden. The vaccine is being administered at the Worcester Senior Center, 128 Providence Street. There currently is not enough supply being allocated by the State for Holden to run a local clinic, if and when we receive an increase in supply a clinic will be hosted at the Holden Senior Center.

  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • COPD Down Syndrome
  • Heart conditions such as heart failure
  • Coronary artery disease cardiomyopathies,
  • Immunocompromised states (weakened immune system) form
  • Solid organ transplant
  • Obesity (BMI of 30 kg/m2 or higher by less than 40 kg/m2
  • Severe Obesity (BMI Greater than or equal to 40 kg/m2)
  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Smoking
  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus
