The Town of Holden Department of Public Works is enhancing its community outreach program and has incorporated the use of social media to share information with the residents and businesses in Holden.
“We are expanding our communications outreach to include social media so that we can share critical information in a timely manner and stay connected to the community,” said John Woodsmall, Director of the Town of Holden Public Works.
The Department of Public works has joined Twitter with the handle @HoldenDPW and has also created the @HoldenDPW Instagram account. These accounts will be utilized to share information about the Department of Public Work’s projects, initiatives, municipal construction updates, storm information, obstructed roadways, special events and other public works news. These accounts will be used in conjunction with the Town of Holden’s Facebook page.
