Series sign-up begins:  Adult Beginner Ukulele Class
 
This series of Introductory Ukulele Classes is for the TRUE beginner. 
 
We will cover the basics, giving you just enough skills to play some familiar 2, 3, and 4-chord songs.
 
You will learn:
 
• The names of the strings
• How to tune your ukulele
• Rhythmic strumming and picking patterns
• Basic chords and how to find them
• How to find a chord progression in a song
• To perform a song to impress your friends and family
 
Participants must supply their own 4-string ukulele,a tuner (or phone app for tuning), and a 3-ring binder.  The instructor is available for questions regarding choosing a ukulele. 
 
We will have two 3-week sessions, meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.  
The first session is Mar. 18, Mar. 25, Apr. 1. 
The second session is Apr 8, Apr 15, and Apr. 29. 
 
 
Registration is required and you may sign up for only one session:  Limited to 6 participants per session.
