When does the pool open?
The pools open weekends only, weather permitting, starting the first Saturday in June from noon to 4:45 pm. The pools open for the season when school dismisses for the summer vacation. Once open for the season, pool hours are 1 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., weekdays when classes are in session; 11 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., weekends throughout the summer; and 11 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. daily, when there are no classes. You will need to show your recreation passes and proper identification EACH time you use the pool.

How can I get a brochure?
You can download the most current brochure from our website. This summer the brochure will be online only, no hard copies will be available.
Where and when can a resident purchase a Recreation Pass?
Recreation Passes can be purchased on-line beginning Monday, March 15, and payment will be made with a credit card. You will need to come to the office with your printed receipt and proof of Holden residency to pick up your passes.
What is the cost for a resident season Pass?
Holden resident: $39.00/person; Holden family pass: $124.00 for a family of 5. Each additional immediate family member is $15.00. This does not include grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.; Senior (age 65 or older): $18.00. Children younger than 1 year old do not need a pass, unless they participate in a class. Season pass holders will be required to show a valid picture ID with their season pass EACH time they visit the pools.
Can a Non-Resident visit the pool? Due to the Covid-19 virus, non-residents aren't able to use the pool this summer.
Can our Babysitter / Nanny use one of our Family Adult Passes?
NO. Passes are non-transferable. Your babysitter / nanny will need a pass of their own.
Can Non-Resident Family Members who spend time with you during the Summer be included on a Family Pass?
NO. They are not year round residents and they can not purchase resident passes.
Do I need a Recreation Pass to participate in a program?
Everyone who participates in a summer program is required to have a Recreation Pass. Passes need to be purchased BEFORE you can register for a program.
When can residents register for summer programs? Registration will begin Monday, March 31 at 9:00am. and is on-line only.
To register for programs you must have an account on our recreation website. If you do not have an account, click on the link for myrec.com and create one ~ all family members MUST be listed individually in order to sign up for any activities. If you're purchasing your passes on-line, please be sure to do so before trying to sign up for any activities. If you plan on purchasing your passes at the office, you will need to do so no later than Wednesday, March 24, so that we have enough time to record them by registration day.
When can Non-residents register for summer programs? TBD...if allowed to register for a program, you will pay double the cost of the program, and you must register in the Recreation office.
When can I reserve the pool for a splash party? TBD
Reservations can be made after the pool officially opens for the season. A Recreation Pass is required. Reservations are made at the pool office.
