NOMINATION PAPERS
Registered voters interested in running for office in the Annual Town Election have until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21st to pull nomination papers. Candidates' need 50 certified signatures of Holden registered voters in order to have his/her name appear on the May 13, 2024 ballot. Filing deadline of nomination papers with the Town Clerk's Office is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25th.
Moderator - One for One Year
Selectmen - Two for Three Years
Trustees of Damon Memorial - Two for Three Years
Wachusett Regional School District Committee - One for Three Years (3 incumbents)
Holden Housing Authority - One for Five Years

New residents may register to vote during the regular Town Hall hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
New residents may also register to vote by mail. Forms are available at http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/eleifv/howreg.htm or, call the Town Clerk’s office and request a form to be mailed out. Please complete the form in full and return to the Town Clerk’s Office. The completed voter registration form can either be placed in the red and white drop box, mailed or hand delivered to the Town Clerk’s Office.
A new voter registering by mail or through the Registry of Motor Vehicles will receive a written acknowledgment from the Town Clerk’s Office within 10 days of receipt of the form in the Town Clerk’s Office.

DOG LICENSING INFORMATION
As a convenience to residents owning dogs, an application has been included for mail-in registration. Online Dog Licensing is also available using the link to the left. Drop ins are also welcome. All dog owners 70 and older are exempt from dog licensing fees ~ must still license. Contact the Clerks Office with any questions.
Appointments for Marriage Intentions, Notary Swear Ins and Notary Services are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 30 minute increments. Please contact the Clerks Office to schedule.
