Members Present: Rosemary Scully and James Dillon
1. Acceptance of Minutes: approve the minutes of the April 22, 2019 meeting.
2. Real Estate/Personal Property Abatement Applications:
ATB decision: 2 appeals- decision for the Town of Holden, 1 appeal- decision for the property owner. Made adjustment to property as unbuildable and abatement of real estate tax completed to property owner.
3. Town Meeting:
22H: exemption adopted at the Town Meeting on May 20, 2019. Gold Star families.
4. Chapter Land:
61B: Sawyer Lane. New offer to purchase 3 parcels. 175/59,62 and 63.
Correction to be made on purchase and sale. Once corrected will be able to proceed.
5. Preliminary Tax Billing:
Rose will be starting the tax billing process today.
6. Vision update:
Training is ongoing with webinars and on-site.
Rose attended the Vision User Group May 13-15th.
7. FY20:
RRC began field work on May 28th. They be working in Holden over the next month.
Vision: Mike Tarello started analysis and will return to update rates in July
8. Personnel: Lori Wall has submitted her notice of retirement after 35 years updating the Assessor Maps. She will work through June 30th, finishing updates for FY20.
8. Training:
Rose will attend the MAAO summer conference at the end of the month.
Meeting adjourned 8:45am. Next meeting scheduled August 12 at 8am.
