Members Present: Rosemary Scully and James Dillon
1. Acceptance of Minutes: approve the minutes of the March 11, 2019 meeting.
2. Real Estate/Personal Property Abatement Applications:
Property owners from 38 Vista Circle met with Board to discuss recent abatement decision and to update status of property. 8:15am. The board will review and respond back following the next scheduled meeting.
3. Personnel:
Meghan LaPorte was hired on March 18th: part time assessor clerk/data collector.
4. Motor Vehicle Excise
2019: issued April 23, 2019, 1,044 bills $301,767.11
5. Supplemental Real Estate Tax:
22 supplemental real estate: $72,391.27, March 26, 2019
6. Income and Expense Notices:
Final notices prepared to mail April 23, 2019, due May 3, 2019
7. Vision update:
Conversion to Vision 8 software has been done. Training is ongoing on-site and by webinar. Rose will attend the Vision User Group May 13-15th.
8. Training:
Worcester County Assessors Meeting: April 3rd.
Rose and Amy attended: Affordable Housing programs and Registry of Motor Vehicles updated website were discussed.
DLS: webinar, April 17th. Review of changes in Certification Standards, 3rd year
Interim requirements, Gateway improvements, Utility class changes, and 121A.
Meeting adjourned 9:05am. Next meeting scheduled June 3rd at 8am.
