Members Present: Rosemary Scully, James Dillon, Robert Fitzgerald 

    

1.  Acceptance of Minutes: approve the minutes of the January 29, 2018 meeting.

 

2.  Real Estate/Personal Property Abatement Applications:

Reviewed applications for abatement.  Rose has been conducted inspections and will schedule the remaining property visits during the month of March with plans to review them at the March 29th meeting.

Decisions were reached on the six real estate properties reviewed today, and one personal property account. Letters and/or certificates will be prepared and mailed to the property owners. 

 

3. Supplemental Real Estate Tax Bills

Supplemental Real Estate tax bills are scheduled to go out in mid-March.   

 

 

4. Motor Vehicle Excise:

First commitment for motor vehicle excise was issued on February 13, 2018 16,528 total bills 

 

5. MAAO Winter Conference: 

Rose will be attending the winter conference on Thursday, March 1st.

 

6. FY2019 budget meeting:

Wednesday, February 28 at 7pm Finance Committee will meet with General Govt.

 

7. Cyclical Inspections:

Scott Bell will return to start cyclical inspection in approximately six weeks,   depending on the weather conditions.  Kim is preparing the mailings to go out.
