1. Acceptance of Minutes from September 12, 2016.
2. Status of Fiscal Year 2017:
Submitted LA 4 and LA13 (new growth)
Approved on September 9, 2016
Meeting scheduled with Amy Handfield and Andrew Nelson, Bureau of Local Accounts with Lori Rose, Town Accountant
Classification Hearing: Selectman’s Meeting, November 7, 2016
Board voted to recommend single tax rate for Fiscal Year 2017
3. Old/New Business
Rosemary Scully attended the MAAO Fall Conference in Sturbridge on October 20
Chapter Land Applications and Renewals: Due were by October 1, 2016 or fy2018
Massey land on River Street will be removed from Chapter 61A: vote was 10/17/17
Exemption Forms: Were mailed out October 21st to property owners currently on the mailing list. These include Elderly exemption, Surviving Spouse, Blind, and Veteran Exemptions. We will provide information for the Senior Center Newsletter.
Supplemental Real Estate bills were mailed on September 13th. (Fiscal year 16-2)
22 total issued: $18,500. Total for fiscal year2016: 45 issued: $84,000
Bills are due on October 13.
