MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS

Members Present:  Rosemary Scully, James Dillon and Robert Fitzgerald

Acceptance of Minutes:

Motion made by Bob and seconded by Jim Dillon.  It was voted

to approve the minutes from March 28, 2016.

1. Recertification Status:

Vision: Mike Tarello here April 8th working on sales analysis                         

Scheduled for March 31 to complete LA3, work on Commercial/Industrial

RRC: Valerie Jackson began work on May 9th. 

State land acquisitions approved

3.   Cyclical Inspections:

Pauline Dillon working on Thursdays, Map 104 and Map 89

Scott Bell: hired, working Tuesday and Wednesday, Map 100

4. Income and Expense forms:

Final Notice did go out on April 11th. Firm book through Post Office.

Deadline for return is ten (10) days. 

Fines will be applied to the Actual Tax bills for fy2017

5. Miscellaneous:

Preliminary tax billing: will be working on the tax billing beginning next week

Training:  April 14th: Rose attended the MAAO Spring Conference

April 21st: Rose attended the WCAA meeting

May 19th: Janice and Sue will attend the Annual Clerk’s Meeting

6.   Next Meeting Date:

The Board of Assessors plans to meet June 20th at 8 am.
