Acceptance of Minutes:
It was voted to approve the minutes from February 29, 2016.
1. Real Estate Abatements Applications:
The Board of Assessors reviewed the remaining real estate and personal property abatement applications. Two abatements were granted for undeveloped land on Jordan Road.
3. Supplemental Real Estate Tax Bills:
Twenty (23) Supplemental Real Estate tax bills were sent out on
March 14, 2016, and payment is due on April 14, 2016.
Total for 23 Supplemental real estate bills: $65,577.17
4. Recertification:
Workshop: March 15 at the Worcester Public Library
Vision: residential sales field review/commercial industrial field review done
DLS: Gerry Creen has completed field review/quality of data
Stateland has been submitted to Boston for final approval
5. Miscellaneous:
Personal Property Forms of List: due March 1, 2016
Income and Expense: mailed February 8, due within sixty days.
Two Forestry Plans were reviewed: Brooks (renewed), Robbins (name change)
6. Next Meeting Date:
The Board of Assessors plans to meet May 16th.
