MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS
July 30, 2018
8:00 AM STARBARD BUILDING
Members Present: Rosemary Scully, James Dillon, Robert Fitzgerald
1. Acceptance of Minutes: approve the minutes of the June 18, 2018 meeting.
2. Fiscal Year 2019 Values:
Mike Tarello was here on July 11th to set fy19 proposed values.
Permits are now being entered and property values updated.
Next appointment will be September 6th to complete updates and submit DOR
3. Board Resignation:
Robert Fitzgerald offered his resignation as he is relocating and will no longer live in Holden. We are very sorry to lose Bob who was a very active and knowledgeable Assessor. At the same time, we understand, and wish Bob and his family the best in their new home.
3. Part time Assessor Clerk/Data Collector Position:
Amy Evanowski will start today in the Assessor’s Office, 25 hour/wk position
4. Data Collector position:
Cody Riedle will start working on July 31st as a part-time data collector.
5. Cyclical Inspections:
Scott has continued working primarily in the neighborhoods off Cook St/Parker Ave areas. He has also worked on building permits completed by June 30th.
6. Property at 73 Greystone :
Home had severe damage from fire. Reduce value for structure.
Meeting adjourned 8:30am. Meeting scheduled for September 17th, 8am.
