Matthew Kennedy opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m.

AMENDMENT TO NOTICE OF INTENT – Quinapoxet Street-temporary gravel operation Jefferson Meadows, LLC DEP File # 183-547 – The applicant formerly requested a continuance to the January 5, 2014 meeting to allow additional time for the 401 Water Quality Permitting to be completed.  The Water Quality and MEPA certificate were received.  The crossing was widened from 14’ to 24’.  Michael Krikonis made a motion to approve the change, Kenneth Strom seconded the motion. All were in favor, motion passed 6-0.

Zachary Palmer, Eagle Scott candidate, requested to construct and install a floating dock to be placed in Freshmen Pond at the Wachusett Regional High School.  The dock will be utilized for educational purposes to aid students getting in and out of canoes.  The dock will be approximately 4’ by 6’ in size and will be removed during the Winter months.  The material of the dock was not known.  The Commission requested any untreated lumber to be stained, treated lumber, and composite material were also acceptable.  The Commission unanimously approved Mr. Palmers request. 

Michael Krikonis made a motion to adjourn, Anthony Costello seconded the motion, all were in favor, 6-0.

The next meeting will be conducted on February 5, 2014

The January 8, 2014 meeting minutes were approved on March 5, 2014.
