F.H.C.O.A. REPORT

                        Commerce Bank                                                          $16,674.43

The total proceeds from the Friends annual Fair held on Saturday, November 2 amounted to $4,030.00.  The Friends donated $1,000.00 to the Wachusett Food Pantry and Help at H.O.M.E.  and paid the gratuity for the Senior Center Christmas Party held at Val’s Restaurant.

HELP AT H.O.M.E. REPORT ~ Jim Robinson

Jim submitted an updated financial report, dated October 31, 2013, showing a combined balance of $31,796.47.

There was a mistake in submitting the old template for the printing of the Help at H.O.M.E.   envelopes, which were printed requesting donations be made payable to Welcome Aldrich, instead of Help at H.O.M.E.  Going forward they will be printed for Help at H.O.M.E.  The committee met last month and will meet again in January or February.  They have not yet acted on transferring money between the Welcome Aldrich account and the Help at H.O.M.E. account.

Now that Help at H.O.M.E. is a town committee, the thank you notes are going to be done by the Help at H.O.M.E. Committee.  Louise has been preparing the thank you notes since the inception of Help at H.O.M.E.

BOARD OF ELDER SERVICES REPORT ~ Richard Mansfield

Rick attended the Elder Services board meeting in November and reported that nothing really has changed.  From a budget standpoint, they are in good shape, there are no wait lists.

Representative James O’Day has once again been helpful with the challenges faced by the nutrition program.
