                            Minutes Holden Finance Committee, December 3, 2018, WRHS

                                                        Special Town Meeting

Members Present: Dave White, Paul Challenger, Al Berg, Joe Dolak, Karl Makela, John Lambert, Chris Lucchesi (left at 6:40 P.M.to join the DPW Study Committee), Don Graves, Marilynn Foley

The meeting was called to order at 6:10 in the small conference room.

Dave reported that an assessment study was done at the Starbard building and it was found that there was a structural problem in the roof with the cupola.

The Committee discussed a WRSD population study to predict school enrollment trends.  The Committee also discussed the full day kindergarten, a possible new building, addition to existing schools and or rearranging grade configuations. The Superintendent is proposing getting on the MSBA school building list now.

The Committee recessed to attend the Special Town Meeting.

The Special Town Meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
