HOLDEN BOARD OF SELECTMEN
MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 27, 2017
6:00PM Starbard Building
Present: Chairman Anthony Renzoni, Geri Herlihy, Tim Ethier, Jeremy Kurtz
Not Present: Erik Scheinfeldt
Others Present: Jacquie Kelly, Town Manager (6:16PM)
Liz Fotos, Town Recorder
The Board asked Ms. Sykes about her interest in joining the Cultural Council.
Ms. Sykes replied that she was new to Holden and when she retired she was happy to submit her name to contribute to the Town in a small way. She stated she received a call that the Cultural Council was looking for assistance and she was glad to help.
Ms. Kelly entered the meeting at 6:16PM.
Ms. Sykes stated that she was a part time resident in Florida so she could not commit a ton of time because she did not want to disappoint anyone but that she did want to help in whatever small way she could and was happy that the Cultural Council seemed to be a fit.
Ms. Sykes stated she worked in public higher education and written granters and was pleased to be part of an effort.
Motion by Sel. Ethier, seconded by Sel. Herlihy it was UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE S. SYKES TO A THREE YEAR TERM TO THE CULTURAL COUNCIL.
The Board thanked Ms. Sykes for volunteering.
Motion by Sel. Kurtz, seconded by Sel. Ethier, it was UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO ADJOURN TO REGULAR SESSION TO BE HELD AT 6:30PM IN MEMORIAL HALL.
