HOLDEN BOARD OF SELECTMEN

MEETING MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 5, 2017

PRE-MEETING- CULTURAL COUNCIL APPOINTMENT

6:15PM                                                                                                           Senior Center

Present: Chairman Robert Lavigne, Geri Herlihy, Tim Ethier, Anthony Renzoni

Not Present: Jeremy Kurtz

Others Present:            Peter Lukes, Town Manager

                                    Liz Fotos, Town Recorder

Chairman Lavigne thanked Jessica Milliken for coming out.  He asked her what her interest in the Cultural Council was.

Ms. Milliken stated that she had grown up locally and moved away and now that she was back she was looking to volunteer in the community.  She stated that her background was in revitalization for non profits and she wanted to use her background to get involved. 

Sel. Renzoni stated that the Master Plan was coming back around as well and that may be another great citizen committee that would fall in her line of expertise.

Ms. Milliken replied that she had read that and had worked on Master Plans in the past and could help with that as well.

Motion by Sel. Renzoni, seconded by Sel. Ethier, it was VOTED TO APPROVE JESSICA MILLIKEN TO A THREE YEAR APPIONTMENT TO THE CULTURAL COUNCIL TO EXPIRE ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2020 BY A VOTE OF 4-0.

The Board thanked Ms. Milliken for coming out.

The Board recessed to the regular meeting at 6:30PM.
