Department of Public Works Facility Committe

September 17, 2015

Meeting called to order at 7pm by John Woodsmall, Director of Public Works

Present were committee members: Dawn Michanowicz; Mark Johnson; Dan Nason; Jack Cross; Gene Stirchak; Bill Randell; Jim Kempton; Jacquie Kelly, Town Manager; John Woodsmall, Holden DPW; Mark Elbag, Holden DPW; Isabel McCauley, Holden DPW

Jeff Alberti, Program Manager of Weston & Sampson

David Steeves, Project Manager of Weston & Sampson

John Woodsmall provided an overview of the scope of this project and the task of the Committee.

Discussion ensued on the capital budget costs, the location possibilities and agreement was reached to tour the various DPW sites beginning at Adams Road at the next meeting.

A meeting date was set for Sept 22 from 9am – 11am at the Adams Road location.

The next formal meeting date was set for Oct 1 at 7pm at the Starbard Building.

Motion to nominate the officers as follows:

Motion made to nominate Dan Nason as Chair, made by Dan Nason, seconded by Bill Randell and passed by majority vote.  None abstained.

Motion made to nominate Jim Kempton as Vice Chair made by Jim Kempton, seconded by Dan Michanowicz and passed by majority vote.  None abstained.

Motion made to nominate Dawn Michanowicz as Secretary made by Gene Stirchak, seconded by Jim Kempton and passed by majority vote.  None abstained.

Motion made to adjourn the meeting at 9pm made by Dan Nason, seconded and passed by majority vote.
