The Town of Holden will receive the following bids until Thursday, September 17, 2020* at 10:00 AM in the office of the Town Manager, 1204 Main Street, Holden, Massachusetts at which time bids will be opened and read via livestreamed:
ADA RAMPS AND SIDEWALK
* Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to maintain the health and safety of Town employees and the public, the Town of Holden buildings are closed to the public. The following information is provided for participation in the virtual bid opening:

If Town offices are open to the public on the date of this bid opening, the virtual bid opening will be cancelled and replaced by an in-person bid opening.
The bid forms and specifications for the work may be obtained from the Town of Holden’s electronic bid system, found at https://www.holdenma.gov/bids. The forms and specifications are listed under “ADA RAMPS AND SIDEWALK - DPW 20-4”. Register using the form found at that link, as this will ensure you automatically receive any associated addenda. Once completed, you will then be able to view the bid.
Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “BID ENCLOSED FOR ADA RAMPS AND SIDEWALK”. Minimum wage rates are established for the project as set forth in the bid documents. A certified check made payable to the Town of Holden or a bid bond for 5% of total bid price must be submitted as bid security. A fifty-percent (50%) Payment Bond is required upon entering a contract with the Town if the total contract price exceeds $50,000.00. A Massachusetts Department of Transportation Prequalification is required.
The Town Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bidding procedures, or to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of Holden.
