The Town of Holden will receive non-price and Price Proposals for CLEANING SERVICES FOR TOWN BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES until Friday, October 2, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. in the office of the Town Manager, 1204 Main Street, Holden, Massachusetts 01520. Proposals will not be opened publicly, but will be opened in the presence of one or more witnesses.

The proposal forms and specifications for the work may be obtained from the Town of Holden’selectronic bid system, found at https://www.holdenma.gov/bids. The forms and specifications arelisted under “Cleaning Services for Town Buildings and Facilities-DPW 20-5”. Register using the form found at the link for this project, as this will ensure you automatically receive any associated addendums. Once completed, you will then be able to view the Bid/RFP.

Non-Price Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Non-Price Proposal forCleaning Services for Town Buildings”. Price Proposals shall be submitted in a separate sealedenvelope marked “Price Proposal for Cleaning Services for Town Buildings.

This project is being bid under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B § 6. The intent is to award a one (1) year contract, renewable twice annually for a total possible contract length of three (3) years, to the most advantageous responsible and responsive bidder, taking into consideration both Non- Price and Price Proposals.

A mandatory pre-submittal site walk of the buildings to be cleaned will begin on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 9:00 AM at the front steps of the Holden Town Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520, rain or shine. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees of the pre-submittal site visit are required to wear face masks and follow social distancing protocols when entering buildings.

Both Non-Price and Price Proposals shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days after the submittal date. Facsimiles and electronic mail submission are not acceptable. The Town Manger reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and waive informalities in the proposal procedures or to accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the Town of Holden.
