Invitation for Bid for

Treated Sodium Chloride Road Salt

The Town of Holden will receive sealed bids for TREATED SODIUM CHLORIDE ROAD SALT until Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the office of the Town Manager, 1204 Main Street, Holden, Massachusetts 01520.

The bid form and specifications for the work may be obtained from the Town of Holden’s electronic bid system, found at https://www.holdenma.gov/bids. The forms and specifications are listed under “Bids for Treated Sodium Chloride Road Salt DPW 21-15”. Register using the form found at the link for this project, as this will ensure you automatically receive any associated addendums. Once completed, you will then be able to view the Bid.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Treated Sodium Chloride Road Salt”.

This project is being bid under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B § 5. The intent is to award a contract, to the responsible and responsive bidder offering the best price.

All bids shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days after the submittal date. Facsimiles and electronic mail submission are not acceptable. The Town Manger reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bid procedures, or to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of Holden.
