Heritage Lane Sewer Pump Station Replacement

The existing sewer pump station located at the intersection of Heritage Lane and Paugus Road is being replaced with a new station.  This station serves a very large area in the south end of Holden and sees the most sewer flow of any station in our system.  The existing station is over fifty years old and was not designed to receive the flows that it is currently receiving.  The new station will have a larger wet well and more efficient pumps thus reducing electrical costs. A new generator will also be installed for reliable backup power.
