  1. OPM Report:  Gary Kaczmarek gave a construction update. They are installing the wooden guardrails at the soccer field. The sod installation is ongoing. The stone for the front wall has been delivered. They are waiting on the electric sign. The plantings for the phase 2 east elevation are going in. ConCom came out to inspect and liked what has been done. Busy bee did a nice job. Straw waddle has been added to the the very bottom before the wetland area. The fence netting for the baseball and softball fields is up. There is a concern with the soccer field at the end near the parking lot. There is nothing to stop the balls. Gary would like to investigate a net to stop the balls from going into the parking lot. He said they could do black posts with netting 15-20 feet high. Dave White asked how far it is from the goal line to the edge of the slope. Bill Senecal said it is not even 30 feet. Dave is concerned about the visual and blocking more of the view of the school. Gary said there is a guardrail but it is only 3 feet high. Darryll suggested portable netting. Dave is concerned with who is going to put it up and take it down. In his opinion, a 4-5 foot black chain link fence would look better. Paul Challenger said the HMLD could possibly do it later. The discussion ended.

Gary reported the punchlist is ongoing. LPA started the back punch last week. Dave asked about the rooftop handlers. Gary said they would be working on a final balance at the end of the week. The commissioning agent is coming Thursday. They are not 100%, but are not running bad.  Dave asked how the issue with the exterior parking lot lights. Gary they said they would be getting that onto the BMS system. Paul asked about the solar. Bill said they are now running and are all working.

Dave asked about getting all of the owner’s manuals into a program for preventative maintenance. This has to happen per MSBA requirement. Dave feels it is the committee’s responsibility to do this for the district. He wants to make sure that in the future the building is maintained. Darryll said the best way is to outsource it to build the database. He is happy to help with the process.

Budget summary Gary said everything looks good. The project is still under budget by a considerable amount of money. He does not see that changing much. The MSBA will not contribute again until after the final audit in 6-8 months.

  1. LPA Update: Bill Senecal reported that they have spent 2 days working on the back punch list. There were 350 items when they started, and it is now down to 130. They are now starting to find warranty items, and have started a list of these items.
  1. Misc: The grand opening ceremony was discussed. Chris Lucchesi is working on the program and Dave White will be the MC. Dave will be there early to help set up. The school will bring out the podium, American flag and state flag for the outside ceremony. At the end of the opening ceremony, Dave will announce the Nancy Galkowski Media Center dedication. Larry and his son Christopher will cut the ribbon.
