          Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes

 July 11, 2017

Members Present:   Melissa Staiti, Lisa Post, Robin Grady, Erin Bradbury, Robert Owens

Members Absent:  

Others Present:       Denise Morano, Recreation Director

                                  Teresa Brown, Recording Secretary

Lisa called the Recreation Committee meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Minutes:    

A motion was made by Melissa and seconded by Lisa to accept the minutes of the

May 16, 2017 meeting.

The minutes of May 16, 2017 were accepted unanimously.

Miscellaneous:

          The dam at Eagle Lake is in need of repair.  Today’s meeting is to decide if the Recreation Department should use funds to pay for the repairs.  The dam is not owned by the town.  Owners are White Oak Conservancy, B. A. Sundin, and Mill Pond Real Estate.

After much discussion the motion was made by Erin that we do not use Recreations funds to repair the Eagle Lake Dam.  Seconded by Lisa.  Motion accepted unanimously.

Motion made by Erin seconded by Lisa to adjourn at 6:40 p.m.
