Zoning Board of Appeals, April 16
TOWN OF HOLDEN
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
HEARING
Sean & Lauri Walsh Case No V1504
The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 7:15 p.m. in Memorial Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA on the Petition of Sean & Lauri Walsh for property located at 128 Wachusett Street for a Variance for relief from side yard setback requirements in order to add a 2-car garage with a breezeway and family room above.
Members of the Board in attendance: Ronald Spakauskas, Silvio Annunziata, James Deignan, Robert Butler and Robert Ricker.
The Chairman called the hearing to order. Due to the fact that there was no one from the public in attendance, the Board voted unanimously to waive the reading of the Application and Findings of Fact.
Mr. Walsh addressed the Board. He moved into the Alden Woods subdivision in 2008. Most of the homes have garages; however at that time he wasn’t in a position to have one built.
R. Butler asked the applicant if the breezeway was necessary. Mr. Walsh said that would be the only way to make the family room a part of the house.
J. Deignan said he drove by the property and felt this would fit in with the neighborhood.
Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was closed at 7:30 p.m.
The Board voted unanimously to approve the Variance request.
