Zoning Board of Appeals, February 27, 2014-MARIN & BARRETT

Meeting date:
Thursday, February 27, 2014
TOWN OF HOLDEN
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
HEARING

B. JEANNE MARIN & JUDYTH A. BARRETT                                         CASE NO. V 1313

The Zoning Board of Appeals held a continued public hearing on February 27, 2014 at 7:15 p.m. in Memorial Hall in the Town Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA.  This hearing was originally opened on January 9, 2014, continued to February 13, 2014, and continued to February 27, 2014.  The purpose of this variance request was to reduce the existing lot frontage of Ms. Marin’s property at 177 Parker Avenue in order to convey a parcel containing 288 s.f. to the abutting lot owner, Ms. Judyth Barrett.

However, the Board voted to continue this hearing in order to give Attorney Leo McCabe time to file an amendment noting both parties names on the application.

Members in attendance:  R. Spakauskas, S. Annunziata, R. Fraser, J. Deignan and F. Lonardo.

Attorney Leo McCabe, addressed the Board.  Since the Board’s last meeting, he has submitted an amended application indicating both both B. Jeanne Martin at 177 Parker Avenue and Judyth Barrett at 179 Parker Avenue are both the applicants in this variance request.

He explained that there will be no change in dimension; this is a land swap to straighten out a driveway problem.  He intends to go before the Planning Board with an Approval-Not-Required Plan and distributed copies for the Board’s information.

F. Lonardo asked the reason for filing an A-N-R Plan with the Planning Board.  Atty. McCabe said that the recording of the ANR plan would be the enactment of the variance.

Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was closed at 7:45 p.m.

The Board voted unanimously to approve the variance request.
