TOWN OF HOLDEN
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
HEARING
NANCY BAKER CASE NO. V 1511
The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 7:15 p.m. in Memorial Hall in the Town Hall on the Petition of Nancy Baker for property located at 24 Fairchild Drive for a VARIANCE for relief from side yard setback requirements for a shed.
Members in attendance: R. Spakauskas, S. Annunziata, R. Fraser, J. Deignan and R. Butler.
R. Fraser made a motion to waive the Secretary’s reading of the application and Findings of Fact due to no public in attendance. R. Butler seconded. Vote 5-0, motion approved.
The Chairman referred to Isabel McCauley, Senior Civil Engineer’s letter of January 26th stating that this variance would have no impact to the public infrastructure.
David Lindberg, Building Commissioner, said that the shed would be well behind the abutters back yard, in about ninety (90) feet from the street. Very little would be visible from the road.
Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was closed at 7:30 p.m.
R. Fraser made a motion to approve the variance with the following condition: 1) The Board granted approval contingent upon the Building Commissioner’s review and approval of the building plan and location of the shed. R. Butler seconded. Vote 5-0, motion approved.
