Educational Programs
Discussions, lectures and seminars by professionals on topics that seniors have expressed interest in, are held at the Senior Center. Topics have included:
- Elder Law Seminars regarding wills, trusts, protecting assests from nursing home costs;
- Elder Homestead Protection; estate/inheritance taxes and living wills;
- Consumer Protection Programs; financial concerns of elders;
- Health & Wellness presentations; by physicians, nurses, and other medical specialties on health maintenance, symptom assessment and how to talk to your doctor, etc.
