Transportation

Holden Senior Center provides transportation to elders over 60 and disabled Holden residents.


Holden seniors and disabled may call the Senior Center Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Rides are provided within Holden and one town out.

In Holden:

Monday - Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. $2.50 round trip

**All rides are scheduled first come first served, space and time permit. Clients are picked up at their home and dropped off @ destination then, must be picked up at the door where they were dropped off.


• disabled persons may ride with a PCA (who rides free)


• companions may also ride, but pay same fee & must be dropped off at same destination


** Van is also wheelchair accessible


Out of Town (includes Rutland, Paxton, Princeton, Sterling, Worcester & West Boylston)  $3.00 roundtrip

Monday: 8:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (last out of town return); Tuesday-Friday: 8:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (last out of town return)


In the Event of Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, the van service may be cancelled for the day. Clients will be notified by phone.

If poor weather conditions begin during the course of the day, the Transportation Coordinator may cancel van service for the remainder of the day. Clients will be notified by phone.
