Basic Life Insurance
Eligible Town of Holden employees may opt to purchase a $5,000 term life insurance policy through the Town of Holden with Boston Mutual. The cost of this policy is $6.30 per month, of which the Town pays 50%. The employee’s share will be deducted from their paycheck every pay period. You may only enroll in basic life insurance coverage within 30 days of hire.
Colonial Life
The Town of Holden has made available to its employees additional insurance coverage which may be purchased through Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company. Employees who are interested in purchasing disability insurance should communicate directly with Colonial. Information on how to get in touch with this company is available at the Town Manager's Office. Disability insurance is paid for entirely by the employee through payroll deduction.
